Property Tax - Due By Thursday July 2, 2026

Property Tax Payment Due Date is close of business day Thursday, July 2, 2026.

Please remember to also claim your Home Owner Grant with the Province by July 2.  Instructions on how to claim your grant with the Province are on the reverse side of your property tax notice.

If you defer your taxes, you still need to claim your Home Owner Grant by July 2, 2026

The District accepts cheques, debit or cash (if need be).  Cheques can be post-dated up to and including July 2, 2026

If paying by debit, contact your financial institution to check or increase your single transaction limit.

For on-line banking bill (property tax) payment, allow 4 or more business days before the due date to reach the District's account in time.

The drop box to the right of the front door of the Municipal Hall is available 24/7

The Municipality does not take credit cards, or e-transfers

An initial penalty of 5% will be applied to any remaining outstanding current taxes on July 3, 2026 -  after the due date (the amount of an unclaimed Home Owner Grant would also be subject to penalty)

The Municipal Hall is open 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.  Closed on Wednesday July 1 for Canada Day.  On Thursday July 2 only, the office will be open for one hour later until 5:00 pm.
