A subdivision is a division of land into two or more parcels, including all new lot creation and boundary adjustments, and some lot consolidations.
The minimum lot area of a parcel that may be created by subdivision may be found in the Metchosin Land Use Bylaw under the provisions of the zone for that parcel.
The BC Riparian Areas Regulation may affect your development. The regulation encourages responsible development. It helps you conduct your activities responsibly to avoid degrading valuable riparian fish habitat.
Copies of the Subdivision Servicing Bylaw, 1987 are available at the Municipal Hall.
