METCHOSIN/ SOOKE: BC Hydro is changing poles and lines along Sooke Rd, between Woodruff Rd and Kangaroo Rd. The work is scheduled overnight between 7 PM and 5 AM and is expected to be completed by April 24. Depending on weather conditions, site constraints, or other operational requirements, the schedule may be extended.
To safely complete this work lane closures will be in place while work is underway. In areas where the road is double-lane, traffic will operate as single-lane alternating. In areas with three lanes, two lanes will remain open for traffic.
To keep drivers informed, electronic message boards will be installed at key locations. Traffic control personnel will be on site. Drivers should plan, drive with caution and expect delays.
