The District of Metchosin is developing an integrated Parks and Trails Masterplan. Community input is an important element of this process, which is being led by the Metchosin’s Parks and Trails Advisory Select Committee (PTASC).
Metchosin has five parks and over 30 trails under its management. Our parks and trails range in size from the 100-acre Metchosin Wilderness Park to the 100-metre long Blaney Trail. Together, these community assets serve as access points to the Galloping Goose Regional Trail, as connectors between local roadways and neighbourhoods, and simply as natural spaces. Community input opportunities:
- An Open House will be held on Saturday, April 5 from 2:00pm to 4:30pm. at the Metchosin School.
