Volunteer Opportunity - Capital West Accessibility Advisory Committee
The District of Metchosin is seeking a community volunteer to serve on the Capital West Accessibility Advisory Committee.
The Capital West Accessibility Advisory Committee is comprised of the City of Colwood, City of Langford, District of Highlands, District of Metchosin, District of Sooke, Town of View Royal and Township of Esquimalt.
The Committee assists the partner municipalities in improving livability, inclusivity and accessibility as outlined in the Accessible BC Act. One representative from each community is appointed to the Committee.
The Committee meets electronically a minimum of four (4) times per year on the fourth Wednesday of the following months: February, May, September and November or as established by the Committee in consultation with the host municipality.
