The West Shore Parks & Recreation Society (WSPR) has begun a process to better understand needs for recreation and sport facilities in the Westshore through the development of a Facilities Master Plan. WSPR operates several indoor and outdoor recreation and sport facilities on behalf of its municipal partners. The municipal partners include the City of Langford, City of Colwood, Town of View Royal, District of Metchosin, and District of Highlands. Collectively, these municipalities form the study area for the master plan.

Opportunities to provide input for the West Shore Parks & Recreation Facilities Master Plan include:
- Completing our Resident Survey
This survey is intended for residents of the municipal partners to complete. It is available online and will be open until March 17, 2025. - Completing our Community Group Survey
This survey is intended for representatives of community groups to complete. It is available online and will be open until March 17, 2025. - Participating in a Community Input Workshop
Digital workshops will be held on March 4 from 6:00- 7:15PM and March 6 from 6:00-7:15PM. - Speak to a member of the consulting team at one of the staffed engagement stations.
