At it's February 1, 2021 Council meeting, Council received the District of Metchosin Housing Needs Report.
In 2019 amendments to the Local Government Act took effect that require all local governments to collect data, analyze trends and prepare a Housing Needs Report describing the current and anticipated housing needs in the community. Once the initial report is received, the report must be updated every five years.
