The Backpack Project is an annual local initiative, which provides mutual aid in the fall/winter months with backpacks full of necessities and comfort items on Christmas Day to community members who are experiencing homelessness throughout the capital region.
Donations for the Christmas Campaign are being accepted now at the District of Metchosin Municipal Hall when the hall is open, during business hours 8-4 Monday to Friday or for drop off on Council Meeting evenings.
