General Local Government Elections
The next General Local Election for Mayor, Councillors and School Trustees will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
Across BC general elections are now held every four years for Mayors, Councillors, Regional District Electoral Area Directors, School Board Trustees pursuant to the BC Local Government Act, the Community Charter, and the Local Campaign Financing Act (LECFA). The Provincial Government has produced a number of guides that voters and candidates may find helpful. The next General Local Election will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
